OKIJA IN DIASPORA FIRST BI-ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING & GET-TOGETHER

The Okija in Diaspora Association proudly announces its First Bi-Annual General Meeting and Get-Together, a landmark event designed to strengthen unity, promote cultural heritage, and foster development partnerships between Okija sons and daughters across the world and those at home.
Scheduled to hold on January 7th, 2026, this historic gathering will bring together indigenes from various countries to reconnect, deliberate on community-progressive initiatives, and celebrate the rich Igbo cultural identity that binds us together.
The event will take place at the prestigious Kojak Hotels, Okija, in Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State, providing a comfortable and serene atmosphere for an inspiring and memorable experience. Activities will include the official General Meeting, cultural displays, networking sessions, presentations on community development, and a social get-together to strengthen family bonds among members.
This Bi-Annual Meeting marks a significant step toward harmonizing the efforts of Okija citizens globally, ensuring coordinated support for local development, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and community advancement.
